Can we get a Military board here? Maybe a place where brothers(and sisters) past and present can talk about whatever they want more specific to the military crowd?

    I can start.

It's something we can take into consideration. There are several topics I've thought about wishing we had a board for, Hunting for instance, but in the end, I don't know that we'd have enough people really heading into those areas to warrant their own subforums.

We can judge it based on demand, and if there are enough military people who believe a sub forum is desired for "military talk" we can make it happen. Just like you've down, you can always start a topic in the General Thread and discuss things.

Do a poll to weigh interest.

Being a Navy Veteran (66-69) I certainly would have no objection to having one. Maybe the forum could try it out on a one/two month trial basis and see how it works out. If it shows no interest, or got out of hand, and became more of a problem then it's worth it could always be removed.

I'd visit such a forum from time to time and post when I felt I could make a contribution.

I could fill a thread with my efforts to get in unsuccessfully.

I bled for my country in the recruiting station but didn't get in.

War stories! It would be nice to find things like that with a sub-forum of its own.

                Hunting, though... with Kahrs??

If I told you what I did during my Navy days I'd have to kill you. I wouldn't want my wife to find out.

Check under Use and Carry subforum, right next to the Law Enforcement.

                            Enjoy.

Just pullin' your chain, Bawanna. I didn't want to go, but went anyway, voluntarily. Some of the best years of my life.
