  • New Member Introduction

Hello, I'm a long time "Glock Talk" forum member (10 years) and a new "Kahr Talk" forum member.

Just posting this to introduce myself.
I have a Glock G19 and a CCW permit. Last night (Friday) I put in an order for a Kahr PM9 (model 9093). The fellow at the gun store said he'd send my order out Monday morning and will have the pistol at his store no later than Wednesday. NIB, price - $599. This will be my first Kahr.

    Regards,
    -Greg

Congrats on the PM9 and welcome to the forum. Not as big as GT but a nice little family we have here. There is a couple great post in the Tech forum about helpful things for your new PM9, I would look them up they helped me wonders with mine. The most important thing for me was how to chamber the first round with the slide release. Have fun with your new gun.
A hundred years from now it will not matter what my bank account was, the sort of house I lived in, or the kind of car I drove...But the world may be different because I was important in the life of a child.

yup welcome aboard. I have a G19 and it is my best shooter I have ever owned. Just to big to carry, so it like some of my others are home detectives,..Nice gun.

You will love the PM9 and u can shoot it until the cows comes home to. Just like your glock.

Go to Karh tech section and hit on the tread PROPER PREPPING OF YOUR NEW KAHR. You will learn something there.

If you have any questions, this board is full of great people who do know their sh-t.
. My PM9 has over 34,000+ rounds through it, and runs much better than an illegal trying to get across our border

A Conceal Carry Handgun Must Meet Four Conditions:
          1) It must be utterly reliable.
          2) It should be compact enough to be carried concealed for long periods of time.
          3) It should have a very simple operating drill.
          4) It should fire a cartridge of sufficient power.

Welcome. Nice bunch of people here. I had a G19 but sold it just after I got the Kahr. I had another 9mm at the time very close in size to the Glock so it went down the road.

Welcome Greg Conn. Lots of Glock owners on this forum. Got a PM9 and a G26 which I'm considering trading for a 19 for competition use in Steel Challenge. Good bunch of helpul members here.

Welcome Greg Conn! I have a couple of Glocks that whine at me every time I open the safe. Too big for me to carry but I like knowing they are there. Hope you enjoy our cracked little family. We share lots of great info, give each other support when needed (there have been a couple of fund raising bake sales) and share some laughs. Love my PM9 and the great people on this forum. Hope you can do the same.

Hey Greg, welcome. You're going to love that new PM9, its going to disappear on you after carrying that G19.
I'm going to likely be scratching a .45ACP itch with a G36 sooner or later....
