  • Hello

I'm new here and wanted to say Hi.

My Kahr experience is with 3 of their firearms.

I carry the PM9 concealed and as a duty back-up.
It is a near perfect handgun. The only problem was that early on
it needed some work to handle Gold-Dots. The work was done
and it shoots everything I have put into it.

    Anyway, Hello! and regards.

Hello, fastgun, and welcome to the forum. We try to help each other out here and learn from each other... and we like pictures! Some guys are only stimulated by pictures of guns... like porn... just wanted to warn you.
I got my PM9 used, but like new (2006 model DLC w. NS) in January. I went looking at a gun show, hoping to find a PM45 to look at and think about for the future. I ran across this beautiful PM9 and after all the talk on this forum (almost everyone has one or wants one!) I couldn't pass that up. I didn't see any .45s except a CW45 or 2. I fell in love with that little gun.
It has been my every day carry(EDC), but it's starting to look like a step-child now that I have the PM4544N. I was fondling that real early this morning and just can't believe that I have one now! What's bad is that it fits in my Minituck for the PM9, as does my K9. The 45 only weighs about 4 1/2 ounces more and I feel like if I can carry the PM9, then the PM45 will fit as well... one less bullet, but more firepower.
Again, welcome to the forum -- that's all most guys will say, they think I'm too gabby... kind of notorious.

Hey there Fastgun. Welcome to the forum. Yes there are two things that are absolutely for certain.....1. PM9 is a crowd favorite and 2. Wynn does like to talk a lot. Most of all have fun here.
A hundred years from now it will not matter what my bank account was, the sort of house I lived in, or the kind of car I drove...But the world may be different because I was important in the life of a child.

Thanks, RY. See, I'm up front and don't deny that I like to talk. If I could type better, I could really gab. I'm kind of anal about spelling but my fingers keep hitting the wrong keys and I have to spend too much time correcting that. For some reason I can't coordinate using that darn <shift> key and the autocorrect function on this site won't fix solitary "i", but thinks KAHR is a misspelled word and "c*ck" is a dirty word!!

A Conceal Carry Handgun Must Meet Four Conditions:
          1) It must be utterly reliable.
          2) It should be compact enough to be carried concealed for long periods of time.
          3) It should have a very simple operating drill.
          4) It should fire a cartridge of sufficient power.

Welcome Fastgun, don't let these guys scare you off. We're mostly very serious, never stray off topic and of course we're all Gabby Hayes fans. I'm sure ryoung will be getting a call with his negative comments about dark colored things but I'm kind of with him in that regard, havea fetish for shiney stainless steel By the way I'm the only normble member here except maybe Mr. Dietrich. Ok bye enjoy your new boat.

Welcome! I love my PM9. It's a keeper. Most of the others I get sick of after a while and trade them in for something else.

I'm sorry guys, but as I fondled my PM45 DLC with NS this morning around 4-5 AM, I realized that I have a new love and that PM9, DLC and with NS, has become a "stepchild". I'm in love with my black PM45 and can't see how there could be a better gun... if it works... after a trip or three back to the mothership. I'm truly in love and want to fondle my beautiful black FORTY-FIVE! Woohoo!

I think we've located the head rabid weasle. But he loves his 45 so must still be at least a tiny bit of reason left amongst the slobering insanity.
Nurse, nurse, it's time to empty my drool bucket. Ok I r a rabid weasle too.
                      bye
