Wow, that's interesting. I didn't think Washington would rate so poorly but not surprised either.

I'm glad my potential relocation states faired so well. Wyoming, Missouri and Arizona. Wyoming I'm concerned about the cold winters, AZ I'm concerned about the hot all the time, Missouri seems like Momma bears just right and being I was found under a rock there (according to my momma) it might be a good fit.

. My PM9 has over 34,000+ rounds through it, and runs much better than an illegal trying to get across our border

Heck I forgot to note Italy, I mean Indiana. I'll have to go thru and see where it ranks. I know you been after me to be your neighbor and all.

Is that job offer of cutting grass and polishing chrome still open?

I hope they do this again after all the dust settles. So many states have so much legislation in the hopper, the analysis could shift quite a bit this year.

I guess we dodged any new legislation in Washington this week, so no change for now.

rank 16th, I have an illegal cutting my grass but the two chinese dudes I had went to Washigton. They were not good workers, now the illegal he could cut grass witht he best of um. I think this year if he stays with me I am gonna buy him a power mower. He has prove himself. So at this time I need a chrome man in ur condition I cannot have a damn chair knocking my bikes around either, so u best stay where ur at, althughy we are gun friendly here, and we are from the Northern agression group to. and u once being from Missouri, understand what I am saying to . I do think the SOUTH had it right back then. I blame ABE for that... I have no idea of ur ancestry but I am sure it would conflict with those who live here. the Pope would be perfectly at home here though, if u get my point.

I'm feeling a tremendous amount of rejection and discrimination here.

I better look for a beach towel, I'm starting to tear up.

I am disappointed that North Carolina is #19. With a conservative legislature and governor and strengthening of castle doctrine, I would think it would rank higher.
                  Very interesting...

Well there was one or two tar and feather stories I've heard but I don't think they run the whole clan out. Maybe so.

I wish my extended family lived in WY, I would move back in a heartbeat.

I can guarantee you that Connecticut will move much higher (i.e. bad) than #45 once the dust settles. A Feinstein look-alike bill has been reproduced here and it will have no trouble being passed in this Democratic state.

As much noise as our Texas politicians make about loving guns and having CHLs themselves, Texans are still not allowed to open carry handguns in public places.

While it's not a desired mode of carry for me personally, I find it a disgrace that we don't have a choice.

As far as Texas ranking pretty low on the list for percentage of households owning guns, that may not be very accurate. Texans generally don't think it's anybody's bidness which law-abiding citizens own guns, so many will not answer such a question. Plus a LOT of gun sales are private party transactions.

That may rankle the antigunnuts, but tough bullhockey.

There are strong historical reasons why we fly these flags down here:

A man can never have too much red wine, too many books, or too much ammunition

I too am shocked that Texas was not closer to 1 and some of the states that fared better. Suprised that OK was as low as they were as well.

I never thought I would live to see the day Wisconsin ranked even 25th in a study like this. We had been almost as bad as IL for ever. We may not be #1 but I'll take open & concealed carry, castle doc. and stand your ground, uncased but unloaded long guns in cars. I would not have believed you if you told me 4 years ago that all this would happen in WI. Our gun owners know who to thank on election day.
