    So this morning the libs on the radio are wondering why the gun bill failed and all they talk about is the expanded background checks. (Who wouldn't want that?) Well if these morons read ALL the caveats tagged along with this they would clearly see the real evil intent of the bill!
    We are throwing sand against the ocean defending the constitution......
    Funny how the resident in the White House blames this on "Politics" He should know as being the King of "Politics".

      basically I read the same thing. I read wereone senator who voted no, said once u got into the bill it changed drmaatically. To many loopholes for the BG, realy tied the legitowner down and like he said contrary to what thepublic felt, he hadto vote on the contents of the bill, not what he also felt was right, for it was not in the bill.So the lib news media has done a great job of defacating on the 2nd amendment rights but the senators felt otherwise. Liars the NRA, wow for Biden and Bummer tosay that after he said he wouldnever raised taxes on the middle class a dime, well he lied on that one didn't he. and he said his healthcarebillwoldbe very affordabe, wellhe liedon that one to, but oh yes the lib news media will never say that. screw him and his people, we should be celebrating today for indeed THE 2ND AMENDMENT PREVAILED. We didn't win anything, we just preserved what was ours in the first place. The expanded backfground checks might have passed but the bill as usual got logged down with pure anti gun bull sh!t. Both parties voted thieir party's way basically but only one party is gettin hammered by the lib media...

        The Rose Garden press conference was the most pathetic display by a sitting president that I have ever seen. It was worse than Karl Rove's meltdown on FoxNews on election night.

          Time to call Bravo Sierra!

          As idiotic and childish as Obummer is.
          Seeing his little dream world shattered was nothing but sweet.
          I can finally say I'm proud to be an American.

          And I haven't been able to say that in a very long time...

          Sometimes you just have to call Bravo Sierra;

            You give them way more credit than they deserve, understand the Senators that voted against it are not standing up for the constitution, the 2nd A, or anything even close to being patriotic.
            They are against it out of fear of their constituent's vote and NOT being re-elected...that's the entire and total reason.

              u might be right but in the yes or no column, there is no asterik mark stating why he voted yes or no. so IMO if he voted NO, that is plenty good enough for me and I think ur assuming more than u can prove to...

                Lets not relax on this. Ovomit is like any other bully. He will stomp his feet, hold his breath and scream until he gets his way. What will he try next? Who knows. But he will not sit still on this. Our cuntry is buried in serious problems he just doesn't have time for. His last 2 Campaigner In Chief attempts have failed. He will pull something. Regulations??

                  We definitely need to stay vigilant until this charlatan is out of office for good.
                  With no shame, no morals and no boundaries - I truly believe he's capable of anything.

                  And then we have what used to be reputable new organizations with headlines like;
                  CNN: "Public opinion gets trumped in gun control defeat"???
                  It's unbelievable to me how clearly biased and unfounded some reporting can be.

                    The president was correct to say there was a lot of lying going on about his gun control bill, only it wasn't the NRA doing the lying:

                    http://www.washingtonpost.com/blogs/...f755_blog.html

                    Of course I thought it was funny that the president who claimed Obamacare wouldn't add a dime to his massive deficits, that his would be the most transparent in history, that he would close Gitmo, who stonewalled the Fast & Furious scandal to protect the perjuring attorney general, would have the temerity to accuse someone else of lying.

                    What an embarrassment to the Office of the Presidency.

                    Reminds me of Bubba wagging his finger about not porking a fat intern.

                      Thanks for deleting that Barth, excellent choice and while my eyes need the cheese grater to remove the image you saved a lot of others.

                      I don't see why senators really want to get reelected, their retirement after 1 term is full pay for life.

                      Must be the kick backs, side deals, and power trips of rubbing shoulders with the rest of them that makes them want to come back.

                          If the country wakes up and realizes all the lies and trickery the administration has foisted on them, we'll be fine. I'm not holding my breath for that. There'll still be 50% of the voters who think the Emperor's clothes are just nifty. That's the thing to work on, not the politicians.

                          Take back the electorate and our government will automatically improve.

                              This isn't a victory at all....This reminds me of those folks who brag and carry on about how big their tax refunds are....That isn't a refund it's just your money they kept without asking and didn't pay you a penny of interest on....

                              We didn't win anything with the gun bill defeat....All we did was keep what was our God given right in the first place....

                              This isn't over, it's just halftime and our Dictator in Chief still has some tricks up his sleeve.....Two words, Executive Order....
