Here's the same baby last summer. The one in white.

I love it. Looks like a good bunch of kids. Is it just 3? That is what I have. A 5 year old boy, a 4 year old girl, and an 8 month old boy. We took the oldest with us yesterday and he got to shoot his dad's .22 for the first time. He was pretty thrilled.

They grow up fast and then they leave. Hold on to 'em as long as you can. Just sayin.

I'm trying to. They all seem intent on growing up as fast as they can.

You might want to consider wearin' a shootin' glove when shootin' these little guns over a long range session. I do when I'm goin' to shoot a lot with the light weights. 200 rounds would wear me out just loadin' magazines!

I've been a victim before. It will NEVER happen again. I refuse to be a victim now or ever again.

Hey Mamaleader, How have you been a victim before?
BUT,,, you don't have to answer that question, I don't want to pry.
I ask that only because there might be something we could learn from your experience, that would help us/family/friends to avoid something similar.

I hope it wasn't following her initial post where I tried to carry on a conversation. She might of thought I was stalking her or something. In truth maybe I was but I didn't have no evil intent ya know.

It's okay. I am fine to talk about it. When I was 18 I was engaged to and lived with a man about 6 years older than myself. He was abusive. I lived with him for a year and a half and not a day went by that he didn't put his hands on me. The worst of my injuries being a broken wrist, cracked ribs, a cracked cheekbone, and two miscarriages. Since then I have gone to therapy, gotten married, and had my children. I hope I never have to see him again but if I do, there is no way he will lay a finger on me.

I have every intention of teaching my daughter self defense and teaching her how to use a gun. She will never be in the same place I was. Never.

You interested in running for political office? I thinking something like..... PRESIDENT!!!

Hey, I'll even accept nominating you for vice-president.

Anybody interested in chipping in to mama's campaign fund?
The only thing better than having all the guns and ammo you'd ever need would be being able to shoot it all off the back porch.

Want to see what will be the end of our country as we know it???

I have said since I was young that I would either be Miss America or the president when I grew up. Since the Miss America corporation has some dumb rules about "you must not be nor have ever been pregnant", that rules me (3 kids later) out. I do not know if too many would vote for me though. I am afraid this country may be too far gone.
