JoeyG & jocko I'm not telling anyone to use the 8 round mags but just like with any mag I buy It gets tested just like the gun does. Does not matter if its a stock 6 rounder or 8 rounder. Maybe I don't apply the pressure to the mag some do? Maybe it the way it fits my gun but I don't trust any new part added to a handgun untill it is known to be reliable.
It should be know differnt if you add a 8 round mag to a 7 shot 1911 or a new mag to a AR15 or, or ,or. I should not have said only glock. . Could be any number of many makes and model out there. Its up the the owner to proof any change , heck some guys have problems with standard 6 round mags. Just don't take for granted that it can't be reliable. Only a very small percentage of owners of handgun even visit these forums. so any problems can be smaller than many perseve.
Just don't say it should not be done as kahr sell an extended 7 shot mag that causes so many issues for some too. Tell Kahr what you tell me.

It's all good. I'm glad your 8 rounder works for you. Mine does not and so it is relegated to range duty. I have complained to Kahr as many on here have. They are aware of the problem. Now whether or not they address the problem, who knows?! These little single stack 9 mm's can be finicky but I sure do like my CM9. Like I said before, Glock doesn't have a 9 mm small enough to fit in my pocket so I bought what I feel is the best in class the Kahr CM9. After my first range trip I was so happy & confident with my purchase I inserted it into my EDC rotation along with my Glock 26. By the way, I do have four 7 round magazines & they all performed flawless for me at the range. I do intend to carry one of them for my spare magazine.Originally posted by hardluk1 View PostJoeyG & jocko I'm not telling anyone to use the 8 round mags but just like with any mag I buy It gets tested just like the gun does.
