Up until yesterday afternoon, I had FOUR Glocks! I bought a Gen 4 G19 for Wifey Saturday! I sold my Walther TPH .22 to a guy in a mask... air filter-type
... in front of the dealer that I wound up buying the 4th Glock from at the gun show. Today, Sunday June 2nd, I sold the New Gen 4 G22 with night sights, so I had positive cash flow, but kind of came out even as far as "profit", considering GS tickets, losses on sales, and contributing to the cost of the tables at the show... gave $20 for my 2-ft end of one table... may share half of a table at the next show.
Now I have two Glock 19's! I can always use the G19 lower and get a .40 upper to give me my .40 carbine that uses the same mags as my G23C.
I revised my insurance again... subtracted two and added a new one!
The show was slow and the frenzy seems to be ending, but some sellers haven't gotten the word, yet!
I saw some NEW U.S. made(DPMS, Springfield, Smith & Wesson+) .308 NATO semi-autos for $1,200 to $1,350! I would have bought one a few months ago... tried, but prices were doubled or tripled... then there was was having to find magazines... AND ammo at "decent" prices. I'm in no hurry now. I even saw the stainless Ruger collapsible 10/22 for "only" $319.99! Most of these deals were at Shooters' tables.
There was a lack of reloading supplies... saw one dealer selling primers for $50 a box of 1,000! I don't seeing any powder... did see bullets, though.
I saw Federal VP525 for as low as $70 or $75... instead of $100 to $120! I wasn't looking for anything and took some ammo for the guns I was selling... in case anyone needed any, but I didn't even put it out.
Saturday I got to the show kind of late... for walking around with a sign and pictures of my 4 pistols on my front and back. I sold one and bought one. Sunday I joined an acquaintance with two tables and used about 2 feet on the end of my 4 pistols, holsters, and lots of magazines. Sold one new G22 pistol with NS, and 3 1911 mags. I had a lot of interest in the Gen 3 G19 and came close to selling it, but one guy couldn't come up with enough money and I didn't need his offered trades... new .22 semi-auto or M1 Carbine. Another guy was trying to sell a pistol and gave me his number and I gave him my card, so who knows? Like I said, I may use it for the Glock-based .40 Mech-Tech carbine. IT WILL work with my G23C mags which are 2 rounds shorter than the G22 would hold.
