May all of your birthday wishes come true, Bawanna, except for the ones you made concerning me and Jocko. And, may you have many more.

Happy Birthday! I'm asking around to see if anyone has a 686 they want to let go of for a good price. Are you looking for a 4" or 6" barrel? Hope you had so much fun today you are still smiling about it decades from now.

4" I'm thinking but if the price is right might entertain a 6".

They aren't cheap. I got a CZ452 22 rifle calling my name too. I'm trying to use restraint on account of I think the stupid tranny is going on my van. Never ends ya know.

The 6" actually seems a bit less expensive. I'll let you know what I find. I assume you want a no-dash to dash 4, all without the lock.

I would love a CZ 452 and have been lusting over those myself. I've been trying to decide if a Ruger American in .22lr might suffice. Not near as pretty, but for the plinking I want, it probably wouldn't make a difference. It would just not be nearly as nice when taking it out and playing with it.

At least your old enough to remember when The Beaver was just Jerry Mathers.

Happy Birthday, my friend! I almost missed it, but there's still another 24 minutes or so to go.

I've been trying to get over a really bad cold for 2 weeks now... still a few days or so to go, though.

I want to go to the range but am afraid that I would throw lead everywhere with my deep, hacking cough... especially after breathing a bit of that stuff!
