  • Alabama vs. Auburn - Last second of the game

Warning: Alabama fans don't view the link below.

Not trying to start any flaming uglies between opposing fans. I'm not a big football fan myself but living near the winning team I have to have some interest as it's the talk of the town.

There was 1 second on the clock at the start of the last play which changed the game. A 109 yard TD after a failed field goal attempt.

That will throw a kink in the BCS match-ups. Who plays for the "National Championship" among Auburn, Ohio State, Alabama, FSU ...

Alabama is out now if I follow this correctly (which I can't guarantee.)

I hate it for Saban cause he's a good coach for good for Auburn as I like the underdog to win.

Alabama vs. Auburn - Last second of the game

This game and the OSU-Michigan game are what make rivalries so great.

Most probably FSU-OSU. Bama is done, and justifiably so unless FSU or the Buckeyes stumble. The posers at Baylor are definitely toast. Nest year with the semi-playoff planned will be interesting. Thank goodness the BCS shat is dead!!!

I will give props to Saban at the news conference. He took all the blame as the head coach and I admire that. Unlike the poor loser fans who blamed the refs, bad play calling, bad execution puhlease. Just admit Auburn beat you and shut up.

it was a great game IMO.

                  Amazing finish that was!

Also enjoyed watching Mizzou throttle the Texas A&M aggys. I wore my late dad's "MU Class of 1933" hat all during the game.

                      I heard that. War Eagle!!

I was talking to a guy tonight that was at the game and he said in the last minute the crowd was so loud that you couldn't even talk to the person next to you, and that the whole stadium vibrated just from the roar of the crowd. I wish I could have been there.

That was probably the most exciting final play I ever seen that didn't involve a trombone.

I have never seen a finish like that. That 1 second on the clock proved to be the downfall of Alabama! I am sure that they wished the clock had expired!

not sure I have seen a game in collegefootbal where they stormed the field like that either. Win or loose, it was a great game all around. I don't think Saban made a wrong decison either, hindsight is always 20-20--most of the time

The kicker wasnpt worth a piss, he knew it and played thge odds, and lost. U know he didn't have alot of confidence in his regular kicker as he puyt in a sub kicker for that last attrempt and fokk it was close to 60 yards.

I don't blame Saban either but the Auburn coach gets a lot of credit. He anticipated a short kick and called for a "return left". Watch the replay again and you can see Auburn setting up the play. It was good to see.
