Yes, it is a made up holiday. there is a river in Africa which nobody there celebrates as a holiday, yet some here think it is such.
I hate being bi-polar, its awsome!

Hey! I take full advantage of every holiday, made up or not. Any reason to celebrate is a good reason. All holidays are made up and quite frankly, I can't get enough of them. Now that I'm retired every day is a holiday. Some people just don't know how life works.

If Kwanzaa is a made up holiday, is Ebonics a made up language... ?
The only thing better than having all the guns and ammo you'd ever need would be being able to shoot it all off the back porch.

Ebonics is black english. When white people use it it's called pidgin English. Down south it's redneck spoken here. It's somewhat similar to Jockoese, but not quite as easy to decipher.

Ebonics is black English, in the USA. When whites use it, its called a racial slur.....

Pretty much. Almost nobody who has any knowledge of language looks upon Ebonics as anything else other than poor/ghetto/uneducated grunts. Linguists laugh when the uneducated call it a language.
