Some of them they make here, some are made overseas. But I have one of the newer Chinese models (Tenacious) and it's a pretty decent knife. I'm not a knife guy though. I only keep a few folders (all Spydercos) here and there for general use. They kinda run the gambit on the quality of the steel, from some carbon stuff, to surgical steel, etc. Just depends on where they come from as to the quality, but like I said, even the cheap stuff is pretty good.

I doubt the Kahr knife is made here, but it's possible. But wherever the regular Delica is made...should be the same. I know at one point, they only made knives of a certain steel type out in Colorado somewhere. Everything else was made in China, Japan, etc.
My only Spyderco is the "big brother" of the Delica, the Endura. Mine is the Endura 4 Full Flat Ground. I prefer the FFG to the saber grind being offered in the Spyderco/Kahr affiliation. The VG 10 steel-made knives are produced in Seki City Japan. The Japanese make GREAT blades.

I guess $99 is about right for a special edition with Kahr logo on the blade (very cool), I just ordered a Kershaw Hinderer for $30, more my budget at the moment.

There are some good budget blades in the $30 price range, Cr13MoV or AUS-8 aren't bad steels for the money.

The Ka Bar Dozier is a nice knife for the money ($15-$20) My wife has one of the pink breast cancer Doziers (she went through breast cancer a couple years ago)

                New knife for Kahr owners

I love the Delica 4. I have 2 and for me it's a toss up between my Delica 4 or Benchmade Mini Griptillian for my best small EDC folder. Factoring normal prices the I give the edge to Spyderco. I also love the Spyderco Tenancious for a budget folder. I have a Kershaw Blur with S30V steel and it's a great knife as well. Price on the Kahr Delica 4 is a bit high, and blade length a little short. My EDC companions...

I have a Hornady Buck Vantage Pro on it's way, should be here tomorrow. It's hard to beat S30V steel and G10 scales for about $50 shipped.

                  http://www.hornady.com/store/Hornady-Buck-Knife/

DO NOT BUY THE HORNADY VANTAGE PRO

It is NOT a Vantage Pro, it's a Vantage Force Select!!! It's FRN scale and 420 steel. Way over priced @ $50 shipped!!!
I sent the Hornady knife back, Hornady is giving me a full refund (including shipping) and sent me a return shipping label.

I ordered a Vantage Pro to replace it

Now you've done it. I've got to have one.
The only thing better than having all the guns and ammo you'd ever need would be being able to shoot it all off the back porch.
