      You got it.
Attitude: it takes 43 muscles to frown, 17 to smile...and 3 for proper trigger squeeze.

The olive branch is considered a symbol of peace, and good will. Last time I checked, it's still a switch.

                  request granted
A hundred years from now it will not matter what my bank account was, the sort of house I lived in, or the kind of car I drove...But the world may be different because I was important in the life of a child.

                    RY,
My thoughts and prayers are with you. I'm from Clarksville, just 45 miles down river, and we are in the same situation. Total devastation along the river. We don't warrant as much media coverage as Nashville because we're a smaller city, but we have it just as bad. Anyone wishing to see the pictures can go to www.theleafchronicle.com and see for yourself.
                    Rick

                          Worst Disaster Since Civil War

Worst disaster in 145 years and that one was the Civil War

2 miles from where I sit the Opryland Hotel was 10 feet under water on Monday. Opry Mills Mall is right next door and was just as bad. At LEAST 6 months until either can reopen meaning millions of dollars lost. 1.5 miles away hundreds of homes are under water and they are just a small part of of the homes damages. One of those nearby homes burned to the water line Monday and they may have been the lucky ones because they probably had fire insurance, not many had flood insurance.

13.7 inches of rain in less that 2 days makes it the rainiest May in HISTORY here and if we get 1" more this month it will set a record for the most in any month.

7.9 was the new record for rain in one day

Depending on where you were the Columbia River was 14 to 16 ft
                          above flood stage

Much of the river front and the "honky tonk" section of Nashville is under water.

Depending on who you believe there are 31-39 dead in and around Nashville and Middle TN.

In some of the counties there are more damaged roads than good ones and many roads are just GONE. Ashland City, for instance is having water and food helicoptered in.

Much of the flood "water" is a toxic cocktail of water, sewage and various fuel oils and gasoline.

What's your personal situation Vincent? You on high ground, or still in danger or wet? RY was exactly right with all the other stuff going on this is getting very little media coverage. I hadn't even heard about it. Let us know if theres something we can do or send ya, darned if I know how we'd get it there but we'll find a way.

Why is it that every time there is a shooting spree they want to take the guns away from the people that didn't do it? :59:
