I've got the 40S&W HiPoint 4095 and find it's a fun gun. It's accurate in pistol caliber range, goes bang every time, doesn't care if it's clean (although I do clean it) and has a lifetime, no $#!+ factory warranty. Did I mention it was cheap?

And made in America.

That's what I was thinking about, only in .45. I'd think that would be a nice plinker and probably good to about 100yds, maybe more in .40. I'd think recoil wouldn't be much of an issue either.

It would be a great plinker. You might shoot it out to 100 yds, but that would be probably beyond its useful range. .40 recoil is trivial. Yes, I'm registered on the HP forum, but get an e-mail from the moderator every few months asking why I haven't logged in recently. It actually has a lot of traffic but is boring.
