Fortunately, it's not a reasonable & prudent Piers Morgan or Michael Bloomberg.

Complaining about shots to the back is only made by pole puffers who are ignorant of the reality of shooting dynamics,. Everytime I hear this crap about shots to the back I know beyond doubt that the poster is completely and totally ignorant of a use of force dynamic. When a so called LEO makes such stupid comments I know beyond doubt thay are a keyboard command and have no real work experience in use of force dynamnics. CASE CLOSED!!!

It is and has been for 19 years coming this May. Too long to not climb every mountain.

I use the chair as a disparity of force, I can carry more weapons and ammo.

That's exactly what I was thinking. Unfortunately that potential young punk will think you're a target but will find out to their surprise you're not.
The only thing better than having all the guns and ammo you'd ever need would be being able to shoot it all off the back porch.

Agreeing with Muggsy, there comes a point in your life where you are too old to run, and too old to take a butt kickin, or whatever abuse is headed your way, so what else can we do but stand our ground? Like my one good friend that broke his back as a firefighter, when he fell through a burning floor, and later broke his neck when he was working for the phone company and his spikes cut out of a rotting pole. A good punch to his jaw could either kill him or leave him paralyzed from the neck down. (this knock-out game really freaks him out, fortunately it's not a common thing in this area yet, but has happened) Circumstances leave us with little choice, but to "Stand our ground", whether it's state law or not. Now my friend if anything, could possibly get charged with "brandishing", as he isn't shy about letting suspicious acting people know that he is armed. You know the type, the ones that make the hairs on your neck stand up.

As a general rule if he can articulate his fear of harm and his medical condition he might be detained but I doubt he will be taken into custody.
