Let's face it................a purse, even though a necessity for most women, isn't a real smart thing to carry. If you carry it strong side, it can be taken very easily............if you carry it, with the strap over the head, onto the weak side, a person can use it to throw you around like a rag doll. Best to carry on person, or not at all. Fools don't need more handguns......................

My wife's first carry is a Taurus UL85 .38 Special but she found it bulky and hard to conceal after agreeing that purse-carry was NOT an option. She now carries a S&W Bodyguard 380 and has been trying quite a few holster options. She has a flash-bang but no flash, if you catch my drift. I offered for her to have a boob job to help with using that holster (yeah, off topic but damn!...) which she is seriously considering. Ahhhh, the little known joys of gun ownership...

I thought of that but was ashamed of myself for having those thoughts. Since you brought it up too, apparently I'm normble after all.

I personally hate to see God's artwork in the form of woman defaced or hidden to conceal a weapon. But they must have a means to do so.

Not an issue with my coworker violets (with only one exception). Most could hang a coffee maker on their belt and it would go virtually unnoticed.

I know my wife will only go with the purse. We're fortunate to live in an area where muggings and purse snatchings are a very rare thing. The biggest worry is in a shopping cart and stuff like that.

I do intend to get a flashbang for trial and evaluation for her of course unless I have an operation.

In Memory of Paul "Dietrich" Stines.
Dad: Say something nice to your cousin Shirley
Dietrich: For a fat girl you sure don't sweat much.
        Cue sound of Head slap.

        RIP Muggsy & TMan

My wife usually carries a Ruger LCP. She sometimes carries her S&W 642 Ladysmith. She doesn't know it yet, but she's getting a CM9 for her birthday.

My lovely wife carries a Sig P238 and sometimes a P938 .... but usually the 380. She has trigger control issues with the pull on a Jframe, and loves the single action. Though not the best place, she carries in the purse ... and I'm glad at least that she carries at all.

My ex carries a Ladysmith .38 or a Colt Mustang .380 on light days. My girlfriend carries a Smith Airweight .38.
