Gary, about 4 years ago in my practice, I was asking a public aid recipient, a 10 year old where they were going for summer vacation. She replied that she wasn't going anywhere that summer but the next year the family was going on vacation in Australia. duh.....

Welfare recipients often sell their cards for a fraction of their value to store owners etc for cash so they can buy drugs or trade their cards for drugs. My guess is it's not many of the welfare recipients themselves traveling to Hawaii.

Why do you people hate the poor. Aren't the poor entitled to take a vacation, too. Think of how hard that they struggle trying to live off of what other people earn. You three should be ashamed of yourselves.

My theory is the Lord helps those who help themselves and the Federal Government has no business being in the equation. I'm all for helping a person that needs it in the short term and this should be handled by state and local government.

When you offer a little help and the recipient decides to kick back and put forth no effort to help them selves then the generosity comes to a screeching halt.

One of the things that hacks me off badly is we arrest a person for theft or other property crimes and the next day they come into the department for a gas voucher or a Salvation Army card.

Just promoting bad and the same folks seem to stay in that mold year after year.

Lifetime welfare recipients should be sterilized. First time a woman has a child and can't name the father, she should be sterilized.

Welfare daddies responsible for more than 2 children whom they don't support should be sterilized.

Illegal aliens living on the government dole should be sterilized.

Tweezers and knives used to remove splinters should be sterilized.

I'm telling ya'll, I REALLY screwed up in life! Hindsight being 20/20 and knowing what I know today, I really messed up. Here, me thinking if I bust my ass while I was a young man serving our country in the US Navy, rising through the ranks, making many family sacrifices would pay out in the long run.


I should have just been a slug straight out of high school. Dang, why did I even graduate?!? Looking back, I should have dropped out and propagated my seed in as many fertile valleys I could.


The baby daddy gets some of this free money, right?


I'm not eligible for welfare nor unemployment. Well, that's not right. I can get unemployment but they deduct it from my retirement. I've always made "too much money" to qualify for any benefit program but never near enough to live the "dream".


I wouldn't have it any other way. You get what you earn in this life, plain and simple.
