+1, Muggsy. I prefer black and subdued... not flashy, but "stealthy"... utilitarian... like a well-built hammer... only a neater tool... for self defense. Matte stainless and non-reflective black are best for me... as my Kahrs and Glocks.

Plastic guns were enough trauma for me. Of course maybe a Bad Guy would laugh long enough to let you shoot a coupl'a more times.

"Different strokes for different folks" I guess. Maybe not much different that chrome plating or polishing your pistola?

I guess I look at it differently. Sure it's not something I'd want but I'm in favour of anything that might induce more honest folk to get into guns and shooting. If this colour thing brings in new shooters (not saying it will but it's worth a try) then I think it's great.

Well, I'm one of those who think the FDE (Flat Dark Earth) furniture on AR-15 rifles looks kinda funny. But not as bad as these blue, pink, & whatnot things.

The little insignia in the Auto Ord grip is nice.

Yeah I like the insignia too. I looked again just to see if the would grow on me. Sorry to report it didn't happen.
I am with Pattaya though, if it converts a new ally to the world of reality and common sense it works for me.

At least they aren't "zombie" neon green...
I was once asked if I was "a paranoid for carrying my Kahr".
                      "Nope" I said, "just prepared".
" prepared for what" he asked?
