Nah! It ain't gotta be new to be photo worthy. The only new vehicles I buy are trucks. Then I keep 'em a lo-o-o-o-ong time. I have a hard time buying cars because normal stuff kinda bores me. That Audi I posted above was a good one: 300+ horsepower, AWD, 6spd: and 10+ years old so it was pretty darn cheap too. But I'm fickle and sold it so it's back to the drawing board. It's odd that I can keep a truck 15 years but I get tired of a car in just a few months.

I thought I was the only one who got those! Big Red looks like a golf ball. I swear those squirrels wait for me to park my truck under the tree then fling away!!!

^^ I had an R100RT away back when. Sorry no pictures. That was before cameras. If that GS was in my garage I'd be planning a trip along the Alaskan Highway or some sort of adventure. Have fun!

Thats awesome. Who needs a car?
The only thing better than having all the guns and ammo you'd ever need would be being able to shoot it all off the back porch.

What are they making cars out of these days that an acorn will ding up?

Bought a new Accord in 2002, drove that until 2014............that's when Accords were good. Bought a new Accord in 2008..........still driving it, but I swear that the 02 rode better for my tastes. Bought a new Subaru Legacy in 2014. Found the only 1 of 2 within 200 miles, that had the big motor, and all the goodies, without all of that Eyesight ***** that drives for you. I told my wife, the day that I can't drive anymore, just shoot me. So far, the Subaru is a very nice car, and that all wheel drive up nort here, works so well in snow and ice situations.

They definitely dinged my 4 month old Silverado. Too big for the garage holding lots of stuff. I wonder if the aluminum F150s would fare better? Or worse? I now park it in the back yard where less acorns are bombing. It's not new anymore.

We rented a Legacy back in June in Seattle. Drove it to Spokane and Yakima and got about 30 mpg. It was a very comfy and confidence building car. Loved the SiriusXM radio and the flash drive music I brought just in case. My PM45 enjoyed the smooth ride too.

Here is my "Sunday Afternoon Toy". 2005 Ford GT. Bought new when they first were introduced as an investment. It is rarely driven, has under 2000 miles on it. Turned out to be a good investment. I've seen them on the high-end auctions going for almost twice what I paid. I enjoy taking it to local informal "Cars & Coffee" type get-togethers. It does get a lot of attention!

Man that's a slick looking car. Looks like it's goin 200 mph sitting in the driveway.

I never heard of one before. I don't get out much I guess.

Someone had one identical to that in Tampa FL.
The car was even more impressive in person.

Love the GT. First saw a red one at Town & Country Ford in 2005. I might have gotten into it back then if they had allowed it. I doubt I could get in very easily any more. I was 58 in '05. The Ford dealer is the same guy who owns Charlotte Motor Speedway and has a string of Sonic Automotive dealerships.
