  • Just got more stuff

Ok I just got more stuff to do more stuff. Last week my buddy gave me a call and seems him and his wife are moving to the Lone Star State and he wanted to get rid of as much stuff he could to lighten the moving load, so he had a little Atlas 618 lathe he got over 30 years ago and I remember cause I was with him when he got it. Always wanted a lathe like that just never ran across one so this was my lucky day. So now what, I always thought on my CM9 that a metal striker spring guide would be nice so today I made one with my new lathe. I could see the plastic one getting a little ragged and a good project for a Sunday. Didn’t take very long but am pleased how it turned out. Now just need to find some space to put it

          I agree

Nice work on that guide rod Harrylee.(..and congrats on the lathe).

Are you set up to hot blue? If not, is that done with cold or rust bluing? Looks pretty good regardless of how it was done.

Don't know if you would be interested, but I remembered this discussion from a thread that CJB started awhile back: http://www.kahrtalk.com/showthread.p...er-guide/page3

^^^^^^^^ Yep, what he said ^^^^^^^

                Harrylee can do about anything.
The only thing better than having all the guns and ammo you'd ever need would be being able to shoot it all off the back porch.
