As a relative novice to the world of kahr I have to say I have been very pleased with the bang for my buck but I have heard a great deal of negativity about kahrs customer service which has caused me some concern. However, having recently picked up a new CT9 I was pleased to discover that I qualified for a free 8 round mag and even more surprised when I received my mag 5 days after purchasing the pistol. Maybe the good folks at kahr are making a change for the better

I'm thinking kahr is now going for market share with their newest string of value series pistols but I'm just guessing. The only thing better than having all the guns and ammo you'd ever need would be being able to shoot it all off the back porch.

I have always had very good luck when I've called them. Often times we hear stories of bad Customer Service, but it's how the person was contacting them/presenting their problem/their expectations of what they deserve.
There was a time, around the holidays and when no one had guns to sell because everyone was buying everything possible do to fear, their CS department got backed up pretty far. I don't know of anyone that had am issue with getting a problem fixed, but people had trouble getting a hold of them. I wouldn't fear their CS until you have a problem with them...then you can start worrying. You also have to remember, most people don't do what's happening in this thread and report a great experience....the ONLY thing you see is bad write ups. Don't let a few bad experiences, or even bad people, spoil your ideas until you've experienced it yourself. You can find many examples on this forum and others, where someone will complain of a problem, get suggestions, and ignore all of them...they do the same thing when they call CS, then complain that CS is bad when in reality they refuse to accept anything other than what they believe is what they deserve (in some cases I think it's a new gun AND a full refund, because they limp wrested the gun, but are too insecure to admit they may not have handled their brand new, tiny gun 100% perfect the first time out).
