This war is officially lost...We did our best for both the Iraqi army and the Afghan's to give them the best equipment, training and support possible but as we saw with the Iraqi army who took off their uniforms and threw down their weapons at the first sight of ISIS gangs we are now seeing with the Afghan army regulars turning their weapons on the only people who are trying to help them...As soon as we are gone they will all go back to living like cave men under the Taliban so screw them all...

I'm sorry but the Muslim world is impossible to change, they aren't at all interested in Democracy or law and order...Time to bring our troops home and let the Afghan/Taliban all rot in hell where they belong...

There was a report several years ago that said as bad as Sadam Hussein was he was the only thing that could coltrol the waring factions within Iraq and when he was gone the place would fall into chaos. Looks like that was true. As a whole they dont know how or want to live in peace.

I was gonna say that but another reason is that people that want the American life come here and the rest that are indifferent or intolerant do not. Forcing people to accept our way of doing things is never gonna work. Time we left people alone here and abroad. We don't like it when our G tells us what to do. I don't think that it goes over any better when our G tells non Americans what to do either. Oh yes free sh!t is Free Sh!t though. When our G tells people to take some free Sh1t, all people seem to have no problem doing that.

I agree on leaving people alone over there, but if they don't like the way we do things here, they should stay over there, not convert or do that crap here. Then they deserve to be messed with and I'm just the guy to do it.
Close the borders, no more life time free sh!t, I see where one state is talking about requiring 200 hours a month work for unmarried folks without children in order to receive food stamps and free sh!t. The horrors!

Any student, even casual, of middle east history would know this and saw this coming. We went over there and disrupted a not to our liking social stability. Other than attacking the Taliban in retribution for 9/11, we should have left well enough alone. Now we're going to suffer consequences.

As to those attuned to our way of life who wish to escape that culture....I have no problem with them coming here. Our country has long been a refuge for those seeking liberty and freedom from oppression.

I think we should have bombed both places to rubble and left. No dropping food packs or nation building or other hearts and minds BS. If they come back and threaten us again, either our people or our oil supply, do it again. Eventually they'll stop.
