I thought no one could be as bad as Janet Reno but Holder is much worse. IMO, his alliance is to the President and black Americans rather than enforcing the laws of the nation without bias. He looked the other way for Fast and Furious, New Panther voting intimidation, Ben Ghazi, and the IRS intimidation. He told the States Attorney Generals to do as he did which is to only enforce the laws that he favored. As the first black AG, he also has the distinction of being the first AG to be held in contempt by the Congress. His declaration that he is going to resign comes six years too late. I fear that his replacement will be another toady loyal only to the President and the Democratic Party. They should sanitize the Justice Department building when he leaves.

Actually, he's staying on until his replacement is confirmed by the Senate so while we're all happy to see he plans to resign, he will be there a while longer.

I've been wondering why he steped down now, no real reason it seems to me then I had a real scary thought...Ruth Bader Ginsburg may retire soon and the Obama administration could help her along if you get my drift and then Obama could appoint Holder for the spot....Told you it was scary

Ditto that! Holder cited the many times he had been stopped by the police during his life so now as the AG, I suppose it's payback time. A lot of BAD things happened while he is in office that never got investigated and he stonewalled the Congress when asked to supply evidence. To see him as a member of the SCOTUS would show just how far we have sunk as a nation who lives by it's laws.

Holder's time in office has been rife with scandals, deception, racial favoritism, cover-ups, doublespeak, assertion of leftist ideology, and has been marked by outright dereliction in his duties as head of the DOJ.

Mr. Holder routinely dishonored his oath to uphold the Constitution and regularly deceived Congress, for which he was held in Contempt. As you may recall, President Obama came to Holder's rescue by asserting “Executive Privilege."

Holder has advanced ideologies detrimental to American law and culture, including systematically undermining natural marriage and actively promoting a pro-abortion agenda.
