  • I Love my Kahr

I've seen so much negative about Kahrs lately. "This is a problem, that's a problem." Well, not here. So far, I have several thousand rounds through my PM9, And it has been perfect from day one. It eats all ammo, including reloads.

I recently gathered the guts to do a stipple job and magwell cuts, and I couldn't be happier. Took it to the range tonight to test it out and ran about 100 rounds through it - a mix of federal FMJ, FMJ reloads, and my SD ammo. Also tested out a couple pocket mag holders I made. Fantastic! Grip is great and I have faster follow-up shots. Mag holders worked great. Just a perfect range trip.

So, this is my proclamation! I love my Kahr!

I feel the same about my CW40 and a PM40 that I no longer have.

From what the internet says you must have got a bad one if it works so well. All mine must be bad too.
The only thing better than having all the guns and ammo you'd ever need would be being able to shoot it all off the back porch.

          My MK40 sucks, too.
I take it out, shoot it, no issues, bring it home.
          Real boring gun.

I know! I'm supposed to have barrel peening and brass shavings in the striker channel also. I got none of the extras.

Maybe it depends on DOB, I recently purchased a PM45, and 300 rounds so far without any issues. Who knows?

I think that I'm going to try skip line checkering on my grips. Stippling is so gauche. Look that one up in your Funk and Wagnalls, Jocko.

I made it several months ago. Got tired of rounds popping out in my pocket, and didn't want to spend money on a holder since I had Kydex and a press. It works great! Much better than the double leather mag pouch I made a few weeks ago.

When I make another, l try leaving the base more flat to keep it from tipping in larger pants pockets.

It's not as fast as a belt mag holder, but with practice you can get somewhat close.

Kydex is really fun material to work with. It's very forgiving and you're only limit is your imagination.

Could be. Mine is certainly not new. It was purchased pre-CM9 production. What is that, 5 years ago.

I may jinx myself, but I have literally never had a single issue. Regardless of what I was doing or what ammo I was shooting.
