We have one of those indoor "skydiving" places in Austin. Pretty popular from what I hear.Originally posted by skiflydive View PostI own a manufacturing company. We make weightlessness. Seriously.A man can never have too much red wine, too many books, or too much ammunition

I've heard little Johnny's name mentioned on this forum before.. this is what his dad does..
One day a fourth-grade teacher asked the children what their fathers did for a living.
All the typical answers came up -- fireman, mechanic, businessman, salesman, doctor, lawyer, and so forth.
But little Johnny was being uncharacteristically quiet, so when the teacher prodded him about his father, he replied, "My father's an exotic dancer in a gay cabaret and takes off his clothes in front of other men and they put money in his underwear. Sometimes, if the offer is really good, he will go home with some guy."
The teacher, obviously shaken by this statement, hurriedly set the other children to work on some exercises and then took little Johnny aside to ask him, "Is that really true about your father?"
"No," the boy said, "He works for the Democratic National Committee and is helping to secure the nomination of Hillary Clinton in 2016, but I was too embarrassed to say that in front of the other kids.""If we ever forget we are one nation under God, then we will be a nation gone under." Little Muggsy. When I was in first grade my father worked at Ford as a tool and die maker and my my mother worked at World Publishing as a book binder. I told the class that my father worked for Ford and that my mother was a bookie. True story.

Plus the odds of him turning out to be a fine upstanding citizen are 1000 times more likely if you raise him yourself.
My wife quit work until ours were in school and then gradually went back to work to match those hours. No sitters ever.
My daughter thinks she has to go back to work so now my wife is cutting back one of her 3 jobs and will babysit while she works 5 hours a day. Again no sitters.http://bawanna45.wix.com/bawannas-grip-emporium#!
In Memory of Paul "Dietrich" Stines.
Dad: Say something nice to your cousin Shirley
Dietrich: For a fat girl you sure don't sweat much.
Cue sound of Head slap.

I'm retired, and sick and tired of being retired. I'm look'n to be a "seasoned worker".
For those of you that may not know, that is an "old fart" that has "some" smarts and a good work ethic. Which seems to be a failing in a lot of the younger "workers".
Who'd a thunk??
"Do as I say not as I do"
"You can't fix stupid"
"Do what you want, 'cause you will any way"
