Went to the Denver gun show today. Quite a successful trip. Bought wife several really nice South Western, Zuni design earrings for Christmas (and St Valentine's day). Guns? Nah, don't need no more stinkin' guns. Happy wife be a better investment.

I know this is true but i still try to figure out how they have so much control.Originally posted by ltxi View PostHappy wife be a better investment. The only thing better than having all the guns and ammo you'd ever need would be being able to shoot it all off the back porch.

Bargains have been much harder to find at gun shows for quite a while. I use to go there to get my reloading components but even they have been hard to find. The last time I went to a gun show (Cow Palace, San Francisco, CA) the entry fee was $14 and parking $5. $19 out-of-pocket before even getting in the door, add a soft drink and hot dog and it was another $6. The dealers were selling at retail or more so I didn't find anything to buy that day. Still, there is some fun doing the touchy, feely with guns that I wanted but could never afford and the gun parts dealers along with the magazine dealers still hold some interest.Life member - NRA

I believe that gun prices will fall back into line once the republican regain all three branches of government. I can wait.Never trust anyone who doesn't trust you to own a gun.
