    Hey Guys (and Gals),

With Christmas right around the corner, it's a good time to be spreading Christmas cheer (with the current state of things, we could all do with more cheer!) With that being said, I would like to remind everyone we do have a political subforum, created so people can create posts that deal with political type things, but people who don't want to constantly be seeing that stuff, can avoid it (me included).

SO, before you post something in the General area, stop and think "Will this get someone riled up? Does it make me mad? Should people be upset about whatever is happening wherever?" If these type of questions can be answered yes, put it in the politics area. If you think "maybe", put it in the politics area.

In the spirit of Christmas and all things great about the holidays, lets keep the general area a fun place to be! As I've said, there are a lot of things going on to be upset about, and we have a place for that, but overall lets try to keep the atmosphere of KahrTalk light and fun, as many people have known it to become. Post about what great things are happening around you this time of year, post about how you're getting to see family (or you have to see family) that you don't get to see, post about all the new guns and gun related things Santa is bringing you this year (Jocko may post about the coal he's getting - can be used to make steel, which can be used to make a 1911, so we'll just pretend Santa didn't have time to finish your gift), just anything that makes you Happy, instead of things that make you upset, sad, or mad.

    Merry Christmas!

        Can do.

                  Thanks for this.

I avoid politics and religion on the other gun forums to which I belong. It's just too easy for me to be drawn into a free for all. My views are are probably not in line with those most commonly expressed. I'd just as soon keep it to gun but don't begrudge others mixing it up if they want to . I learned the hard way.
