  • The stupidest crap I've seen in a while.

Apparently, some libtard decided a man carrying a legal firearm in Walmart needed to be tackled and disarmed, then several other idiots get involved and pass his gun around like complete tards. It's too bad the first idiot didn't get shot in the face.

Well if the CC'er was not seen reholstering his concealed carry handgun by his vehicle he would not have some libitard tackle him ether. Seems both were at fault .

I fail to see how both are at fault. Just because some idiot saw him holstering it outside, to me hardly justifies attacking him in the store. If the tard was that scared, he should have stayed outside and called 911 like the pansy he obviously is.

WTF, The guy could have been an off duty cop, or something, and this idiot just decides to go and tackle him and take his gun? I hope after criminal charges are prosecuted, with a large fine and whatever jail time they can throw at his stupid butt, that the permit holder sues the pants off of the idiot. I've heard of some stupid crap before, but nothing like this. I agree, too bad the jerk didn't catch a bullet somewhere. I would like to hear what prompted him to do it, if he's anti-gun, or thought he was saving Walmart from being robbed or what his lame excuse is. I just hope they don't get some libtard anti-gun prosecutor, that let's the idiot off with a slap on the wrist.

Well, that's one circumstance for the concealed carry vs. open carry discussion that I have not seen addressed.

Ahhh, c'mon. I'm a Condition Yellow to Orange kinda guy but anticipating getting jumped from behind with no warning like that would take maintaining a level of daily paranoia I'm not willing to live with.

I fail to see where anything is said about the victim re-holstering his weapon.
"Foster had seen Daniels getting out of his vehicle in the lot with handgun, under his coat and in a holster. Foster followed him into the store and attacked the Daniels, the sheriff's office said."
The gun may have been exposed as he got out of his car, or the wind may have caught his jacket and blew it open.

And ok marcinstl what training is it that prepares you for being blind side tackled INSIDE a Walmart. I seem to keep missing that course on the self defense classes offered around here. The victim was in his 60's and the attacker was 20 years younger and appeared to be quite a bit larger as well. Now out on the streets, yeah, it's good to have your head on a swivel, but that had to be totally unexpected, and something that doesn't happen very often. That's the first time I ever heard of a stranger tackling a man over a gun, when he was minding his own business and shopping. I suppose you would have done better under the circumstances? The tackler knew where the gun was, and prevented the victim from reaching for it. You may think he might have heard the guy running towards him, but perhaps he doesn't hear well. It's easy to armchair quarterback the situation, maybe not so easy in real life.

I think he means that as a concealed handgun permit holder, you need to be ready for anything. And I mean anything. Please review this informative training video and be humbled in Clease's tactical presence.

I'm not paranoid or maybe I am? lot of people get shot or stabbed in St.Louis everyday. pushing 70, bald/grey, fat- I know I look like a victim. I hate going to public places. when I go, I have a 9mm that can be detected if you know what your looking for, then there's the .32 in the shirt pocket, then there's the knife on a clip. on the way across the parking lot, into the store I have a hand on a gun, you don't know what's lurking there. if your an old guy you can look around and check out what's going on- just another confused old guy huh? shopping for good prices and surviving the experience is what I'm doing, no kids, no texting, no conversations. the CCW carrier in the video got sacked by some psycho. unless the guy was knocked out the psycho should have got some bullets and/or a blade.
you know the psycho is going to end up being the hero of this story. maybe this will encourage others to disarm the murderous CCW carriers?

I think the event could be taken a bunch of different ways. Some people carrying guns are the good guys. Carried guns don't necessarily protect you from the unexpected. You could be murdered by your own gun. Remember to always bring your permit - you never know you'll have to demonstrate legitimacy. Printing/displaying can be really bad for you. Don't tackle a gun carrier - s/he may be legitimate. All kinds of stuff.
