What's with all the douche bags on armslist who think their crap is worth full retail and then some? I browse armslist sometimes mostly looking for ammo deals but I constantly see guys selling ammo for sometimes as much as retail, plus 50%. The guys selling guns too, often looking to get full retail. And the guys offering useless junk from around their house for a gun.

I have bought, sold and traded on Armslist both locally and out of state. For firearms, I have used an FFL all but one time. That was local. The buyer signed a bill of sale and provided a drivers license that I photographed as well as a CHP permit and Voter ID Card. The transaction was at night in a supermarket cafe. I went armed.
I have been very satisfied and, of course, there are no fees. If an item is overpriced it just gets culled from my search right off and I move onto something reasonable. I limit my searches to private parties. No dealers.
If it is something uncommon that you really want you can always make an offer and see what happens. My experience is that most gun people have a good sense of what fair market values are.Last edited by Hawkeye; 01-31-2015, 05:10 AM.

I've used Armslist. Although with our state's recent new law about all sales going through a licensed transfer and registration, I won't be until the law is turned over. Use your head and know what to pay, no problems.Aftermarket accessories for Kahr Pistols at https://lakelinellc.com/

Like anything else you need to research the pricing. People pay too much for vehicles everyday. My New Web Store!
