  • How cold is it???

It's a friggin' winter wonderland here in NE Ohio...just in case you were wondering. I almost traded my snowblower for a 1911 but thought better of it. Momma didn't raise no dummies.

Here in OK it varies between the high 70's and subzero. Today it will hit 75 or better. Tomorrow we might get up to the low 30's with freezing rain and the 60's return by midweek.

Not too bad here in Hickory. A little "chilly" but very tolerable. We might get our first taste of some snow Monday night. Hope I can get my jeep out and play in it a little.

One day I'll be able to add attachments.😁 I'll show my car (another thread) and my Accuweather screen capture showing the piedmont of NC with nights staying below 25, except 26 Monday night after we get snow. The North wind doth blow!

Can't say the same for my Momma, but the one wasn't me. Haven't used my snowblower much the last couple of years but it ain't going nowhere. Quickly figured out during my first winter here it be an essential piece of power equipment for my driveway set-up. And I so don't need no more 1911s, anyhow.

Denver area's been having some record high temps over the last couple/few weeks....breaking into the 70's several times....and with a lot of sunshine.

I am sick and tired of listing to weather people talk about wind chill. What you have out your door is all that matters . We were a nice bone dry 5* this morn in Burnsville NC in our valley , so dry I could go out and sweep the porches off in a t-shirt when 6* out. 15* at 11:20am . Colder at higher elevations . I can look up at Mt Mitchell from my house and it was -5* this morning. So its cold , dress for it and get on with life .

                              Its winter after all.
