Interesting videos. I've never fished for pike but they look aggressive.

Scared Pike jumps out of water ... https://m.youtube.com/watch?v=CpcpvRW_ACU
The only thing better than having all the guns and ammo you'd ever need would be being able to shoot it all off the back porch.

My dad had a camp on Seneca lake when I was a kid. I grew up fishing for Northern Pike. "Aggressive" is right! They are prehistoric.

That's one of our native species up here...............biggest one I've caught 34"...................biggest one I've seen, about 42"...........older adults probably average between 16" to in the high 30"s, but in the abundance of lakes we have, the size could get a lot larger, starting to get into Muskie territory. I've seen northern's in Canada, that were huge................people here eat them, call it poor mans lobster. I've had it..........not my cup of tea, but not bad.

We used to measure them in pounds. 6-7 pounders went back. The biggest one I caught was 11 pounds. We would also go up to Ontario for vacations, my parents and big brother and sister were from Oshawa. We would catch them out of Redeau Lake. My dad caught some 15 pounders, maybe more, can't remember.
