And NO I do not live in a dangerous neighborhood. In fact I live in a gated security patrolled community.

I have no loaded guns in or about the house other than my daily carry guns. When I'm home the 1911 usually sets on top of my dresser, the PM45 usually stays on my ankle. It then gets placed on the dresser next to the 1911 when I go to bed if I remember to take it off.

I have several in my man cave that have magazines near by but nothing loaded.

My developmentally disabled adult daughter lives at home with my wife and I so I can not and will not leave any loaded firearms readily accessible. Sometimes I carry my LCP in my pocket. There's always a loaded 9mm in the safe and a loaded 9mm in a lock box in my nightstand.
