One liter is roughly 61 cu. in.. A 427 Ford wedge head was 7 liters. Take off your shoes and socks and do the math.Originally posted by b4uqzme View Post^^^ mine's liters...what ever that means.

I'm all for that.Originally posted by b4uqzme View Post^^^ ^^^ they do bring back memories don't they muggsy? A buddy's dad always had a red Ford pickup. Really cool guy: had an apple orchard and grape vines, made cider and wine, grew a huge garden, let us get drunk at the local electrician's annual picnic...

It is Bawanna...all my Jeeps and trucks have "Arizona pinstriping " from the Mesquite, Palo Verde, Creosote, etc. My wife loves the F150, so it gets rubbed out.... time to time:Originally posted by Bawanna View PostI don't recollect I ever owned a truck that was only 8 years old.
Them's some pretty trucks. Must be tough to keep em shiny down there in the desert huh Greg?

Darn BEARDOG, that's a nice truck. I've always liked the Comanche. They don't turn up on the market down here very often...seems most that have them are fond of themOriginally posted by BEARDOG View Post
Oh well, maybe the Wrangler pickup will become a reality soon: http://www.equipmentworld.com/jeep-r...-pickup-truck/
I do still have an 89 Dodge Dakota, that's been a workhorse for me. It's got a lot of bumps and bruises...even had a tree fall on it
Here it is on a dove shoot from a few years ago:

I must be the only person here that never owned a truck. Well, there was the SSR I owned for a year, but most of my truck-driving friends wouldn't accept that, even if it did have a 6 liter LS2 Corvette engine with 400 HP. They just said it was some kind of crazy hot rod with a very large trunk. It didn't have any dings or scratches either.Attached Files

I alway liked those, but everyone told me I was Nuts, The $$$$$ stopped me. Probably could get one for about 1/3rd the sticker today knowing they depreciate so badly....My New Web Store!

Here's mine. 9 years old with 97K (still considered lightly used)
The truck lives here:

Truck said it wanted to live here. Truck also said if it's from the low altitude Southeast don't feed it 85 octane flat land gas and expect it to do anything above 8000 ft. Going up hills you'll end up in low gear and/or pushing. Feed it mid-grade or better.

This was a trip to Colorado about 6 years ago. Great Sand Dune National Park.

Truck desired do do some Mountain climbing.

We made it to about 13,000 feet but here's a shot of 12,000.

Yeah it's July and yeah that's snow. It actually snowed on us July 4th between Cortez and Alamosa.

I've got to get back there one day before I get too old.The only thing better than having all the guns and ammo you'd ever need would be being able to shoot it all off the back porch.

Toyota makes a hell of a truck for sure. They go and go and keep on going.
Either your very very tall or your girl is very very short, or perhaps a combination of both.
My truck wants to live there too.http://bawanna45.wix.com/bawannas-grip-emporium#!

Dad: Say something nice to your cousin Shirley
Dietrich: For a fat girl you sure don't sweat much.
Cue sound of Head slap.

I used to push 6'2" but age has leveled me out just over 6'1" now. Wife is actually 4"10 1/2" but she'll insist she's 4'11". Every little bit matters i guess.Originally posted by Bawanna View PostToyota makes a hell of a truck for sure. They go and go and keep on going.

I want go get back out there really bad but every summer the last few years something has messed it up. I think if I get to go out again I'm going to hit Utah and the wife has a cousin around Phoenix we might go see. I'd like to see meteor crater too. She also has family in CA but I'm going to fight going there for sure. The only thing better than having all the guns and ammo you'd ever need would be being able to shoot it all off the back porch.
