  • Found me a new key ring

So I was I hunting last week when I found this little thing that would be perfect for a key ring. Pretty sure I'll never misplace my keys again, though I might need to reinforce my steering column.

Nice find. Just be careful not to sit on it.

There's a woman in jail right now, who, once she gets out, can put a real nice polish on that for ya, seein' as she's no longer carryin' a handgun in her "polisher".....

Thats awesome. I love that landscape where you are. What part of CO is that? I love the southern part of CO the most I think.
The only thing better than having all the guns and ammo you'd ever need would be being able to shoot it all off the back porch.

How would you like to walk around with two of those sticking out of your head your whole life.. Seems like it would be a nuisance but they sure are pretty.

The photo was taken by Villa Grove at the northern end of the San Luis Valley.

When you have a cow and a bull skinned side by side you can really tell the difference in the size of the necks. Takes a lot of muscle to carry those things around on your head.

My first wife grew up in Costilla. Great area except for that!

Here's a pic from a different area we hunted near Buena Vista. The mountain on the left is Mt Princeton and the right Mt Harvard, both of them 14ers.IMG_0269.jpg

Beautiful area. I have some pics taken in January '09 from the Utah side. It was cold. The air is so clean and crisp and pics come out really great. Breathing becomes more of a chore even at 8000 feet.

Too bad you didn't find the other matching one, they would have looked nice hanging on your wall.

Where I found this one I sure didn't feel like going back and looking for the other one. I did look around the area but I was in heavy timber and was lucky I even found this one. I would have loved to find the other one but not sure if I would have been able to carry both out along with my rifle.

Well. that (one) is still a nice trophy, congratulations. That is the next best thing of your hunt. Best would have been if you shot 1 yourself that was that nice.
