  • New Generation Kahrs.

Just saw a video featuring the next generation of Kahrs. They had the same kind of trigger safeties as the Glocks do.

Does anyone know if all new Kahrs are gonna have that feature?

The fact that Kahrs had the long smooth revolver like triggers and no safeties is the reason Itchy and I chose our CW45s for CCWs.

It would be a shame if that feature goes away in the name of progress.

If that's true it must be a legal lawyer thing so the guns will have some kind of safety......Sure hate it if that's really true.....Kahr has the best out of the box trigger on the market and it would sure be a shame to change it just to satisfy the legal eagles....

I guess this is old news. Anyway, I hope we can still get the old standard trigger on future guns.

I've never heard nuttin' about getting rid of the "good" triggers. But I haven't heard everything yet.

Nothing to worry about. The new triggers are only on the new Gen guns. The rest of the lineup will continue to have the same great triggers they always have had. So says a Kahr guy I spoke with the other day.

With a supposedly shorter trigger pull guess they feel an added trigger safety to some . Time will till only after some get into the hands of shooters .

Honestly, I just don't see any additional safety in that Glock trigger. If it gets hung on clothing, etc., it's gonna go bang.
Women call it "the silent treatment", and they think we don't like it.

But it does aid in passing import requirements I believe...
The only thing better than having all the guns and ammo you'd ever need would be being able to shoot it all off the back porch.

Just a bit of info here. that trigger & the pistol in the video are what Kahr calls "Gen 2" not to be confused with all other kahr pistols or future models..

The "Gen 2" is a competition only gun... It's called "Gen 2" only by name..

Just don't get rid of the good one you have. Lawyers will eventually put a safety on everything.
