Well, it finally happened. After 60 years of safe gun handling I experienced my first ND today. I was sitting on the couch twirling my CM9 like Roy Rogers used to do when the damn thing went off and shot my wife's cat. I thank God that my wife wasn't home at the time. That's my story and I'm sticking to it.

Now thats good. When my inlaws were staying with us for a few months my father in law put a for sale sign over an armadillo that met its end at the curb. I thought it was pretty funny but my neighbor didn't see the humor. When he started ranting about it I thought it was ironic given all the redneck things he did.

Apparently some of our more politically correct members aren't too happy with this post. Some of them didn't understand that it was posted as humor. I'd like everyone to know that my wife and I have never owned a cat and I'm not in the habit of twirling loaded guns in my living room. After sixty years of shooting I still haven't experienced a negligent discharge and I'm not in a full body cast. I'd also like everyone to know that while I may still may die of lung cancer that I haven't lost my sense of humor, warped as it may be. My apologies to anyone who may have been offended by my post.
