My name is B4 and I am a gun whore...

One second I am staring at the safe thinking I really need to sell off some of this stuff and, in the same breath, making plans to attend the gun show this weekend and pining for one of the PM9 blunt noses I saw at the LGS recently...

You guys did it to me. Before I bought my MK9 I was happy with a couple revolvers and a shotgun. They I joined Kahrtalk and all hell broke loose. I'm pretty impressionable you know.

Oh sure, blame others for your lack of self-control.

Definitely a bad influence on me. I'm trying to fight off a desperate urge to visit the local shop where they have one of those Colt Competition Blue 1911's to fondle.
How many 1911's does a person really need, can a person really have too many.

I have my neat old 1942 Colt that should fill the "Must have a Colt" urge but a Colt for daily carry would be a cool thing too.
The little fella's on my shoulders are doing battle as we speak.

I tell myself that a deep blue finish would be ruined by my fingerprints, therefore never touch one.

You guys have no self-control. I developed self control right after I filled my second safe with guns. I can almost walk through an entire gun show now without getting the shakes. Seeing a hypnotist or a shrink might help, but it's doubtful. You either have it or you don't.

I got it bad...the shakes...not the self control.

I can relate to that statement. Before kahrtalk i had 1 revolver, 3 semi's, and one rifle.

Now i cant even get them all on the kitchen table at once with the table extended to the max and its an 8 seater.
The only thing better than having all the guns and ammo you'd ever need would be being able to shoot it all off the back porch.

I too blame all of you on this forum for being assimilated into the Kahr mindwarp. I was happy with my lc9, until I innocently stumbled here. Now, I've sold the Ruger and have 2 of these addictive pistols. Not to mention a safe full of other guns. I've even tried to brainwash my son into Kahrism! It's hopeless........

I'm kind of proud of myself, I gave in and went and looked at the Colt. It was really nice but it didn't sing to me. I'd love to own it but not bad enough to part with 850 bucks. Course the down side is he had a piston Ruger AR set up just the way I want for more than twice the money so now I get to smolder on that for a while I guess.

Seems like no matter how much money you got, you never have quite enough.........................

Using 1 January as a base....Last year I was n-4. This year so far I'm already at n-1. Still leaves me somewhere north of 40, tho, so I'm not exactly armory deprived.

At nearly 70 years of age I have been blessed with the "perfect" wife and perfect dog, but I am still searching for the perfect gun.
Anyway that is my story and I am sticking to it.
Besides that, polygamy is illegal and more than one Yellow Lab at a time takes up too much room in the bed.
Guns are cheaper than wives and dogs.
