This kind of stuff just make my blood boil, I was catching the last part of Cam& Company today and he made a reference to this comedian Amy Schumer and her skit on online gun buying. Well I was not amused at this under knowledged person could even talk on this subject without knowing a thing about how things work in the real world and at the end you see everytown.org which I do believe to be the idiot bloomberg once again. Now people that are not of the gun culture think anyone can have a gun sent to the house, sending false information. And we all know how this all works you can order but still need to go to a FFL. This is all BS info that is thrown out and the SHOULD be held responsible for the false lies

I was talking to a friend at work, and he's aware I'm a gun owner and shooter. He went on about how we need more gun control etc etc. Well, I started telling him there are already about 30,000 gun laws, and we don't need more laws. He says what about straw purchases? I tell him that's already illegal, it just needs to be enforced. Turns out he was not aware that there are laws already for the many things he thought were still legal, background checks etc. What about mental patients getting guns? That is suppose to be done with background checks, peoples medical records are protected by the 1st amendment though and may not be known. Anyway, my point is we need to inform many of these anti-gun people then maybe their cries for more laws might die down.

Dan your right, I still can’t believe how naive people are when we talk about firearms. They tend not to look for the real facts or laws. All they go with is the media and politicians and all they do is to spread lies. People still think you can order a gun online and have it dropped of at the house. And we do have ample laws on the books but some how they don’t enforce them or it doesn’t make the news. Now this comic hides behind 1st amendment of free speech so they can say what they want even though the lies hurt our society. It’s easier to listen to a lie than to find out the real truth. But really how hard is it in this day and age to look something up? All the gun news that I see is all illegal use and forget about hearing about someone defending their life, that’s not news especially if the trigger is never pulled.

All they go with is the media and politicians and all they do is to spread lies. People still think you can order a gun online and have it dropped of at the house. And we do have ample laws on the books but some how they don’t enforce them or it doesn’t make the news. I can IN FACT "order" a "firearm" TODAY and have it LEGALLY delivered to my home without a background check. I can do so only in a very very limited fashion but the FACT remains that I can indeed do so. Have done so.

I can not understand the number of gun rights supporters who try to explain to me that it is illegal to own a full auto firearm or that in order to do so one must have some special permit.

Given how the laws are and how they are different state to state and even sometimes from town to town within a state the confusion and ignorance isn't all that astonishing.

I am seriously thinking about a form 1 "freeze plug" "muffler tube" suppressor just because I want one and it is legal.

You say "firearm" Hand Gun or long Gun?
Because there's no way on Gods Green Earth that you will buy a handgun as you described..... Legally.
I believe even a long gun from outside of your state requires an ffl.
Please explain this to me... Enquiring Minds Want to know.

He might be referring to a black powder percussion or flintlock gun. Those are not classified as firearms by the BATFE, IIRC.
