I got this new tool mostly because of Glocks. I routinely replace the connector with an after market one to lower the trigger pull or make it smoother.
I did this with Wifey's new Glock 43 and then found that ours had the new and improved connector, so maybe I didn't need to spend $20 on the Ghost Edge. I also wondered what the trigger pull was on my SIRT pistol as it hurts my trigger finger after a dozen or so pulls.
I had already put the factory improved connector back into the G43 so it was the first one to test. Some owners had reported 10-11 pounds or more, but reports on the new factory connector placed it closer to or below the advertised 5.5 pounds.
I had this scale on order at Amazon for a few weeks with an expected delay of 1-4 months! My cost was to be $74 and some change including tax. About 4-5 days ago I was notified they would be getting some this week so I clicked on the item and saw it was now advertised for about $8 less! I queried Amazon and they said that I would not get a lowered price. They didn't do that! So, I canceled that order and reordered it, getting it today... about two days later! I saved $8.
The scale has a nice plastic case that is foam-lined and that is in a bubble pack... just sustained a tiny scratch with little blood lost. I hate those bubble packs!

Handy instructions on the rear:
I Began testing the G43... AFTER unloading it and checking that there was no ammo left in the pistol! I tried pulling the trigger with the sensor extended and as you would a conventional spring loaded scale. That wasn't the best way... finally read ALL of the instructions and found that the best way was to put the sensor between the trigger and your trigger finger so that you could better control the trigger pull. That's really a great way to test the pull, and only available with a scale as this one with the ball-joint-mounted sensor.

I took 10 measurements and had a low of 4 pounds 10 ounces with a high of just over 5 pounds 8 ounces. The average was about 5 pounds 5 ounces... great.
Next I had to check my SIRT LASER practice pistol. I thought surely the pull was 10 pounds or so, so I was really surprised that the pull was closer to 5 pounds! It's the narrow trigger that's causing me pain after a dozen or so trigger pulls... especially if done quickly.
I haven't gotten to the other pistols to check them, but I'm sure happy to be able to see what the trigger pull really is now for my pistols.
This is probably the best scale on the market. There were cheaper ones, but I really thought the sensor location would give more accurate and consistent results.
Now I would still like to get Wheeler Engineering's Sight Pusher. That's usually close to $200 after shipping... retail about $240. I read one review that said it broke on an XD of some sort, but that those are heated and pressed into place... really hard to remove. My cheap sight pusher works for me and I bought a Universal model by another company thinking it would be the same size with more adapters, but it's smaller. I will probably sell that at the next show and buy a Wheeler for about $185 or so on Amazon, but with a LONG wait.
