Always ran and trained with my Aimpoint H1 4 MOA on my AR. Looking for more versatility w/o breaking the bank. Want to get my tired eyes out to 2-300 meters with magnification( cannott get to 100 meters with just the red dot and no mag anymore). I am willing to piggy back on my Aimpoint to the new set up if possible. Any suggestions? ACOGs are too $$

Leupold rifleman 3-9 x40. Keep an eye out and you can get one for less than $200 delivered now and then. The glass is super clear snd bright. I have 2 of them. Most important is to get good rings so you can remove and add the scope at will and not have to re-zero.The only thing better than having all the guns and ammo you'd ever need would be being able to shoot it all off the back porch.

I use an SWFA 1x6. It is first focal plane and with a Bobro mount I can pop it on and off. I don't know what it costs now, but it is nice.Aftermarket accessories for Kahr Pistols at https://lakelinellc.com/

anyone hear about the Nikon P223 scope and mounts? It has a BDC reticle which I am not all that crazy about but they have a program called "spot on" on the web and you can get bullet drop for your round to that reticle at dif mags. I was wondering if anyone has tried it or knows if it works as advertised. I would love an FFP reticle but we are talking $$$. I was thinking about putting the new from aimpont 6X mag behind my aimpoint H1 but I think I will just get me a bigger picture of my dot covering the target past 100 meters. Also we are talking $$$$$I am the Living Man

The timing on this thread is perfect for me. As I get into the build I have learned and found it is possible to invest a ton of $$$. Logic says, just buy a Ruger Precision Rifle and for a couple of grand including glass, you will have a world class shooter, but the LEGO gun is drawing me in.
So far I have done nothing but purchase a set of MBUS pro irons. I am thinking I will go with something Red Dot as this is really a short range, maneuverable firearm."Never pet a burning dog"

Glass frustrates me to on end mostly because I refuse to pay the big bucks for the real good quality stuff I really want.
Many here, our snipers for sure spend as much on the scopes as they do on the rifle's.
Me I'm the typical American on Safari. You can always tell us. We have a 6000 dollar rifle and a 29 dollar scope.
Been this way all my life. I do appreciate a good quality scope but won't spend the money.http://bawanna45.wix.com/bawannas-grip-emporium#!
