Good news update:

Results of the whole body bone scan revealed fractures in my shoulder which most likely have caused some bleeding into the bone & marrow. Apparently that gave a false reading for the multiple myeloma cancer.

Made me so happy to hear that, I went out and bought a dozen chocolate-covered donuts.

First time ever broken shoulder be good news methinks...

That's beyond awesome news. I can't imagine how great that had to feel. Like getting your appointment with ole sparky cancelled for good.

Being told that you have a very serious/fatal illness certainly shakes one to the core. Been there done that, don't recommend it, or wish it on my worst enemy.
Hope that you can get over the shock to your system- at least the outcome was a relief.

Almost two months ago when we were leaving a University of Texas football game, I stumbled up some stairs while grasping a hand rail awkwardly. It wrenched my shoulder. After going through the inevitable pain for a month, I went to my GP doctor first, who said it looked like a rotator cuff tear. Then the MRI which led to the whole bone scan.

Found out that my shoulder problem is due to arthritis & tendinitis, aggravated when I wrenched it while stumbling up the stadium stairs a month ago. Going to the orthopedic doc tomorrow to see what he can do. I can't even hold my little CT380 out straight - much less shoot it. I'd probably drop my full size SR45 like a Frenchman. Guess I may have to learn to shoot left-handed. Crap, am a terrible enough shot as it is.

Do you research DIET effect arthritis....
