But you could cut the top off.
If you get her one make sure it isn't a 10 spd auto. That's faster then the 6 spd manual.

0-60 in 3.8 seconds vs. 4.2 sec. for the manual. And about 11.-- sec. in the quarter mile

Hold me mommy. I don't even want to think of my wife in a car with those specs. Now myself it might kind of nice for a little while.

I love it that they have the green VW in it too, just like the original!

Believe it or not or this ain't no ca ca, I had a 68 VW Bug that turned the quarter in the mid 12's and I drove it on the street.
At one time I had a 4 barrel Holley on it but it ran it's best with 2 two barrel Webers. Had a lot of fun in that car, the stories it could tell.

I saved myself and told her they don't make it in a convertible. That's her thing now, has to be a convertible.

She has a Convertible 2005 Mustang with a V6 and still scares me when I have to ride with her.

Tell me they don't make a convertible. Pullleeeeeeeze.

I'd love to have that car myself. Might be tricky for me to drive but we'll figure it out.

My oldest son prefers classic Camaros - this is his '69 Rally Sport:

Well the wife's Mustang still hasn't been delivered. It sat in the awaiting transit status for a long time. Then it was in transit. But then the transport train from Flat Rock MICH. broke down. What a flat tire ?
Now delivery is estimated to be in 15 days.
                        UGH !

I had an appointment to bring it in to have a tow hitch installed to tow our camping trailer with it.
