Well today got to make a few more things with the scroll saw. The cookie cutter are great for making patterns and cutting them out. Found the Santa face online, and also the pig that I made into a trivet for the wife. Bought a foot switch and a few different blades at Lowe's today. I am liking this saw and it is actually more relaxing than frustrating if you can believe that!!!

Now your getting intricate. That santa took some major effort and some time too I reckon. Nice work.

TY, not real smooth cuts and I did a few "out of the lines" cuts in the thin beard parts, but overall ...my wife likes it a lot....loves the pig trivet...for some reason that one went so smoothly. almost tracked on the lines without any resistance.

Wood will mess with you, soft and hard, always messing with the cut.

              That Santa is really good.

Mr. Black Cat’s financially challenged story reminded me of one Christmas we had. Dec 1995 money was scarce even working 2 jobs. Didn’t have money for a Christmas tree for the kids that year and I was moving to another city for work on Dec. 26 so time was an issue too. Ended up finding a 2x6 foot sheet of paper and let the kids draw a huge Christmas tree on it and color it in with ornaments and we hung it on the closet door in the living room. Still have that drawing around here some where.
The only thing better than having all the guns and ammo you'd ever need would be being able to shoot it all off the back porch.

Want to see what will be the end of our country as we know it???

Probably the best Christmas tree the kids remember too!!
