  • Greg Help please. Image posting

I am accustomed to posting images on other forums where I just insert my image from after clicking the "insert image" icon and pasting a direct link from Postimage.
When I do that here I get file size too large or some other rejection. I have resizes my photos but still have trouble. What again is the correct method on this forum. Possible sticky?

Try the “manage attachments” button below the reply box. You first click on the “go advanced”, then do the manage thing to upload an image from your computer or tablet. The hit the “close window” button at the bottom. Then click the reply.

          Thanks very much.
          Works but seems unnecessarily complicated.

The go advanced is what I have to do also.
The only thing better than having all the guns and ammo you'd ever need would be being able to shoot it all off the back porch.

The "insert image" icon here has given me trouble as well. I never use it.

You can post a direct link by using BB code. The code for posting images is: [img]put your direct link here[/img]

From postimage, I find it easier to copy and paste the info from the "Hotlink For Forums" box. It already has the appropriate code added.

It also seems to resize the image some. The image I uploaded above is 4832 x 2718, but posts here as:

Resizing the image to 1000 x 562 gives this:

                Regards,
                Greg

Can you make this a sticky?

I love Greg’s backyard/playground. Not much shade though.

I see his trophy wife stayed in the car, probably plumb hot.

I do love the backyard/playground too.

Major points is a very good thing. Yall don't wander into them holes do ya. Could be snakes and spiders and all sort of scary things in there.

I checked out the main tunnel. It went back about 100'. I didn't see any critters, but there were some droppings. I didn't check any of the side tunnels. I'm pretty sure this was (is?) a lead mine. If I'm right about the location, thediggings.com has it listed with production spanning 1918 -1919. There was an old stacked stone building foundation down below it. It's a single track up to the mine, so we parked the Jeep at a spot above that building (where we could turn around) and hiked the rest of the way up. That proved to be a good plan as the trail stopped at the mine and there wasn't a lot of maneuvering space there.

                            Regards,

It just seems right to ask, what is the carry gun while hiking in the AZ desert like that?
