  • Here is mine with a little DIY polishing "rounding edges" for easier holstering.

    • Thats a nice touch CRD. making a tapered nose out of a blunt, and keeping the overall length down. I may have at my 'black rose' edition with the same intent, soon.

      • What did you do your polishing with? I've been thinking about it but haven't started yet.
The only thing better than having all the guns and ammo you'd ever need would be being able to shoot it all off the back porch.

            • Very nice, both of those last couple.

You send that out or do it yourself davewhit3. I love jeweling and front slide serrations.

              • I live in Springfield, MO, and there's a shop here called Dark Ops Customs ran by Frank Duren who did the work. It took about 5 weeks, but it turned out great. It's actually much nicer looking in person because my pics are with an iPhone. He also did some trigger work and polished everything on the inside as well, so the action and trigger are much smoother than before. I had some Kahr grip stickers on it before the custom grip and never did like that, but the grip work he did feels so much better. The only thing I don't like is the rear sight, I think I'm going to put the stock one back on until I find something better I like.

                      • OK, now I HOPE you didn't put your camera at risk by placing it that close to the muzzle, so I can only assume you either used some nice clear plexi-glass to shield it, or zoomed it in.

Given the size of your meaty paws in relation to the size of your head, it doesn't look like a zoom job. Tell me you didn't abuse your camera with muzzle blast!

Also, was this the result of telling your camera to take a series of shots after a timed delay, and just getting the timing right? Because I KNOW you didn't let someone stand in front of you snapping photos while you shot.

Or, should I not kill the mystique by asking for an explanation, like at a magic show?

Those are stills from a movie shot with a little Sony Cyber-shot DSC-W350 mounted on a tripod. I used this free editor to capture the stills: http://fixounet.free.fr/avidemux/
I'm afraid I've put that little camera through some rough use since I've had it. It goes along on hikes, 4 wheeling, hunting, shooting trips, etc. I think the most damage to it has come from me rolling on when it was in a belt case.

                          • I did notice some wiggly lines on the photo, which in hindsight look very video-esque, but at the time I just figured it was JPG compression, fuzziness from a bit of digital zoom, or just a crappy cell phone camera with a small aperture.

                            Nice shots!

I was looking at one of these at my local shop, only in 40. I really like this model. Let us know how she shoots. Nice catch...
