      • One is a Smith, and is used for cold weather carry and protecting the castle.

The other will be broken in (still unfired) and will be used as my every day carry when it's warmer. Got a pocket holster coming in Wednesday and my N82 holster just got shipped today too... so will have options. Still need to break it in and learn to trust it first.

            Nice Root!

Do yourself a favor and order a Talon grip for the CW9.

A gun is like a parachute, if you need one and don't have one you will probably never need one again.

                • This was taken yesterday, which was the first opportunity I had to take it out shooting. Fired without issue. Can read my range report here: www.kahrtalk.com/showthread.php?t=22640

My first Kahr, probably not my last. I just ordered 4 new mags for it and getting some Talon grips now that I am certain I'll keep it.

                  • Talon grips have become a necessity for my pistols. Awesome product.

                      Mine just came in today...

They feel good. I still think they look tacky, but I don't care. The CM9 isn't a 'flashy' pistol to begin with. It just works.

I did kind of goof and the grips, while applying them, touched a piece of paper and it ripped when trying to remove it... so on the right side there is trace paper residue. I used the heat gun more than I probably would have otherwise and put in a large effort to ensure everything sits properly. Still put it on a slight bit crooked... We'll see how it holds up.

                          • Wow, RR, you are responsible now for me having lustful feelings in my heart. I really want a "perfect" MK9 to complete my necessary carry collection. That's what I wanted back when I bought my first Kahr, a CW9 (as much as I was beginning to loath plastic, even then), and I still want an MK9 .... now even more. Now I must decide between a month of medical insurance payments or a fully equipped MK9.
