How did you come by your moniker?

I get called The Tman by some folks, thetman was already taken, so I just added the ski to sound kind of foreign or something. It gets used a in a lot of different forums and stuff.

Dietrich is actually my middle name.Some people call me by my first name and some use my middle name.Some call me other names.

Ol'Coot was a nickname that was give to me by one of my apprentice toolmakers many years ago, if I remember correctly I do not think he was very happy with the job I had given him and with the detailed instructions and words of wisdom that followed. The other toolmakers in the shop thought it to be funny and that it fit well, and it just somehow stuck. Being the gentleman that I am I always thought it must have been a term of endearment since it caught on on fast. LOL!

Mine came from the scene in the movie "Full Metal Jacket" when Joker was on the helicopter with the Marine gunner shooting at VC on the ground while yelling Getsome, Getsome, Getsome...Joker asks him how he can shoot at women and children and he says "Easy you just don't lead them as much" One of my all time favorite movies...

Most people call me Jer, which is short for Jerry. When I got into black powder & mountain man doins, I picked Jeremiah. That name was taken on the board, so I added Az., as that is where I have always lived.

Kram is my name read backwards, a nick name my brother gave when we were kids. I had to add another m cause kram was already taken. I started useing the name after my brother died.

Man, I wish I could come up with something good about my screen name. Unfortunately the best I can come up with is it was a login for a company that I work for and not being very good at remembering things I just used it here too. Keep it simple you know. I still use one from another company from 20 years ago sometimes.

When someone ask me my phone number I may even have to scratch my head and think for a minute. I never call myself and the wife is on speed dial so I don't have to remember. Funny though. I can remember every detail of a communications network, picture it in my mind, and tell you how to fix it but cant remember my zip code sometimes.

Well I guess I remember the things that get the bills paid and buy my "toys" so I maybe the rest doesn't matter.

Back in 1990 a friend's brother had just finished his tour in the army. my friend and I were going to lunch and he said he would drive. He had his brother's car a 1986 mercury capri with a 5.0, 5sp. I was driving a 1982 pontiac TA at the time. I could not believe how fast this little car was a immediately was on the search for one. I found capri's are rarer than their for brother the mustang. I have had 3 mustangs but always wanted a capri.
Once we moved to AZ I went on the hunt for a new project car. Out of dumb luck I found a 86 capri 5.0, 5sp for sale by the origional owner. I bought it and completely rebuilt it (minus cosmetics) and raced it at fun ford weekend. I still have the car and expect to make it pretty one day.

My last name starts with Lo and during my younger years "Lo" is what people called me. I have a love for fast cars and driving fast, so it is really No slow Lo just shortened and squeezed together.

I guess that mine is the most unimaginative of all - it's my middle name but the one I go by. very few people know my first. Now my password - that different. It was my callsign when I flew for the Navy.
