    Want to see my Sig?

    The owner of this pistol could not sell it locally for his asking price(I have know idea why?) and was going to sell it to a local gun shop, you know what kind of prices they pay. I was talking to him about the gun and he said he would rather sell it to me for what the lgs was going to give him for it than let the lgs have it...I couldn't say no, I figured it would be an easy turn around to a Sig collector.
    Well my eyes almost popped out of my head when I saw this pristine weapon...it is in perfect shape. The worst part is, it simply felt awesome in my hand. Such balance and total quality and slick package...My wife came for the ride to go pick it up....this is the first gun she's ever taken a liking to...she said; "I can't wait to shoot it" "We" might be keeping it.

    Its a P6 9mm incl. thee 8round mags and two holsters. The other Sig is a P220R and I'm sure you recognize the K9.

    Looks pretty pristine to me. Not a mark or a flaw anyplace I can see. I'd say it's definitely in contention for keeper status.

      very nice. The P6 is a fine handgun. My son bought one for his wife a couple of years ago, but it doesn't look anywhere near that condition. I almost considered trading my P239 40 cal for another Kahr, but just can't part with the Sig. Congrats on the great acquisition

        Its just as clean inside. I can't even find ware on the rails...I've never seen a non-new Sig without rail ware....??

          Cool find. You made out on the mags as well; they're expensive. Stick with factory though, as the ProMags seem to stink.

          Try sigforum.com. Lot of good people there.

          Also, per reports on sigforum, some of the P6's have a few issues with hollowpoints. Nothing that can't be fixed, though. Details are on the forum.

            I almost bought one of these under the same circumstances. I bumped into a guy in the parking lot of a lgs, who was there to sell his P6. I passed on it, although his asking price of $300 was very tempting.

            PAIN, how do you like those Hogue grips in your P220? I've been thinking about getting a set.
            Judging by today's left wing, looks like Senator Joe McCarthy was right after all.

              Great looking gun, I also like that it has the bar dot sights. During my Kahr search I had it narrowed down to a P239 or a K40 and I decided that the P239 seemed just a little too wide to be a single stack..and the trigger on the K40 is unbeatable for DA. I can't shoot my Sig 2022 in DA very well at all now, it seems like the pull is twice as long.

                I love the P225/P6 guns. They are one of my favorite shooters. I wanted to carry mine but it aint no small gun and it is definitely large-for-capacity.

                ..... I carry a small gun to compensate for my huge pecker.

                  I know exactly what you're saying....I don't know where this P6 fits in my needs. Its too big for EDC, when I have the K9 and too small for range/SHTF use, having the P220 for that role. It is a great gun at a great price but a night later I'm likely going to stick to my original plan of turning it around quickly. I don't know why I have this thing about having extraneous weapons.

                    gee I don't see the beveled slides on the sigs????? Guess they haven't seen kahrs yet huh??
                    . My PM9 has over 34,000+ rounds through it, and runs much better than an illegal trying to get across our border

                      I have an idea to help you overcome the "extraneous weapons" problem. Just come up with some more roles you need to fill.
                      - an IWB EDC
                      - pocket EDC
                      - nightstand gun
                      - truck gun
                      - woods gun
                      - .22 plinker
                      - hunting rifle
                      - plinking rifle
                      - shotgun
                      K40 Stainless (traded to) -> PM9 (sold to fund) -> Ruger GP100 Blue 4"...now Kahrless

                        Or how about a gun just because you can? Or you have a hole in the gun safe, needs to be filled. When you run out of holes, you need a bigger safe. Best reasons I know of.
                        Attitude: it takes 43 muscles to frown, 17 to smile...and 3 for proper trigger squeeze.

                        The olive branch is considered a symbol of peace, and good will. Last time I checked, it's still a switch.

                            Me too. BUT, I got a big full size van and I got room for lots more. I might have to start locking it up in the garage and using it for general gun storage. Toy box is full, no space in the sock drawer, closets, or under the bed.

                            Maybe I should get another van too?

                              That's a nice group you got there. I recently picked up my first Sig. Now I'm considering another one.
