  • Bubba Blitz

Sitting in the kitchen this morning, drinking some especially good coffee my friend brought us in from Hawaii, I began to think that Bubba Blitz (adorning my new Kahr mug ) bears passing resemblance to my avatar here on Kahr Talk (or vice versa). What say ye?

I was thinking about that sometime ago. I just now learned the little fellows name, but yes I see a resemblance.

Yup I see it, there's a definite resemblance right down to the eye blink, teeth and tongue.

Oh if that coffee is Kuana Lampur, well you just go right ahead. Google that and see how that swill is made. I'll bet you'll never drink coffee again.

Hmm, I couldn't turn anything up searching that.
The stuff my friend brought was from Mountain Thunder. It's from their conventional grown line. You may remember Mike Rowe did a Dirty Jobs episode on their organic grown stuff: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=gzYNN...embedded#at=74

I totally support that Juan Valdez fella with Folgers. Him and that burro must work 30 hours days picking enough of the richest kind to keep everybody in coffee.

This Mountain Thunder outfit seems to follow the same path.

              You guys could be brothers!

A good cup of coffee is another one of my weaknesses as I seem to have a few. About 2 years ago while visiting my son I was introduced to the the Keurig single serving coffee maker and the excellent selection of coffee that is available. I have been hooked ever since almost as much of an addiction as my love of handguns.

What that Ol'coot said. Keurig's single serving coffeemakers are winners in my book too.

Thanks Rondo! I should have remembered that stuff; saw it on Bizarre Foods with Andrew Zimmern.
My wife is the coffee person around our household. I'm surprised she hasn't worn her Keurig out yet.

Speaking of which that dog of yours ain't got much in the ear dept. I figure you either done the doberman trick and cut em off or maybe he tangled with a Gila Monster and got em chewed off which would explain why you walk the desert with AK's and all kinds of doggie protection devices.

                      Just curious.

                        Hey Bawanna,
Jack has his fair share of ears, but also has some Terrier in his mix. He lays his ears back like them quite a bit.

Funny thing you should mention a lizard, he's been practicing for them since he was a puppy:

                        regards,

Wow that's him. I can see it in the front on shot. Tough looking dog. You can see the satisfaction in his eye with that lizard in his mouth too.

Whats a dog do in that part of the country around snakes and stuff. They know not to mess with em or do they get bit?

He's had the vaccination for Western Diamondback Rattlesnake venom and I try to keep a close eye on him. Fortunately, we don't run into snakes very often. The only rattler I've encountered in the last few years gave ample warning when we were about 20 ft. away. That happened when my wife's sister and her family were visiting from New Jersey. It gave them quite a start. Jack did find a Gopher snake out in the yard one night or I should say early morning; he started his warning bark and I found him between it and the house, but at a safe distance.

That was the coffee I was thinking about, and yes it was in the bucket list. I quit drinking coffee a few years ago and couldn't remember the name.
