    Detectonics .45acp

Old model Star PD. Had the revised version.

I'd post my list but I'm afraid it's so long it would melt down the Kahrtalk server due to lack of space. There's lots.

Dad: Say something nice to your cousin Shirley
Dietrich: For a fat girl you sure don't sweat much.

My LGS has an excellent Deltronics 45 in their showcase. I don't know the price because I haven't paid much attention, but it's pretty cheap. I did notice that the rear sights are about an inch and a half forward from the rear of the slide.

SVI Tiki in titanium. I just don't think I will ever spend the money on one.

Colt Python, blued, walnut grips, six inch barrel. Lusted over one ever since I held one for the first time over 30 years ago.I really would like to have one but not enough to pay what they are going for these days.A gunsmith buddy of mine [God rest his soul] tricked out a Ruger Security Six with a new trigger and a Colt Python barrel and sold it to me and it has dampened my ardor somewhat.Actually it gets more attention at the range than the real McCoy would.I have received quite a few offers for it but once I decide that I really like a firearm,a team of mules couldn`t get it away from me.Unless they were really stupid rich mules.

Oh man that 6" deep blued python years ago was such a beauth. They were so expensive though tha tin allhonesty we did not sell many of them. I wish I had put a couple 6 inchers back though. What a fine out of the box action they had. Back then Colt used to aqdvertise that every Colt Python spend 6 hours on the timing and honing bench. Not sure how true that was but it was certainly one of the smoothest double action triggers I had ever pulled..
. My PM9 has over 34,000+ rounds through it, and runs much better than an illegal trying to get across our border

Jocko,I`m not sure what type of action my buddy put into that Ruger or what he did to it but it`s as smooth,if not smoother than the Pythons I have fondled. Many of the offers I`ve gotten for that pistol have come from Python owners.

Had two Pythons over the years. The snubbie that I traded for a broken down German Luger and the 4 incher that I sold for way too little. They were both beauties.

I absolutely hate snakes but I'd kill for a Python. I've lust right along with Dietrich just about the same amount of time. 20/20 hindsight should have bought one 30 years ago. What a 401k that would have been, given the assumption one could actually sell one even to rich mules.

I kind of wish I hadn't passed up the Colt Anaconda that I had the chance to buy. I had a 4 inch Python, and it was a wet dream to shoot. Loved that pistol, but it's gone now and there's no sense crying over spilt beer. There are a few that I kind of wish I still had like my old Barrett, but again that's all the past and I will move on.
Attitude: it takes 43 muscles to frown, 17 to smile...and 3 for proper trigger squeeze.

The olive branch is considered a symbol of peace, and good will. Last time I checked, it's still a switch.

Looks like several of us "older" guys had our noses pressed to the glass at our LGS, drooling over the infamous Colt Python .357 mag. I had a friend who owned one, and I at least got to shoot it some when we went to the range.
Being a young married man with a toddler in the mid '70's, I had , I mean my wife had other priorities. I really couldn't afford one , and, turns out, I still can't.
